Milestone Celebrates with 3rd Annual Company Thanksgiving Dinner!

From leadership nominations and numerous weeks as the top sales team in the country to new babies and new homes, the Milestone team has much to be thankful for this year, both personally as well as professionally. We gathered this week to celebrate with the traditional Thanksgiving feast (thanks Brian, the turkey was great!) Everyone contributed one of their family favorite recipes, including mashed potatoes, stuffing, mac&cheese and green bean casserole. In addition to the great food, we enjoyed a few rounds of competitive Scategories and a day full of NFL football. We hope all of you had a wonderful day celebrating with those close to you!

Milestone Shares Holiday Spirit with Friends in Bosnia!

Milestone is proud to have a team of talented and caring professionals. Recently, Amanda, a team leader on the Milestone sales and marketing crew, invited the company to join her in supporting Operation Christmas Child, an organization that helps connect children in third world countries with gifts from people like you and me. Our team broke into pairs and worked together to fill shoe boxes with small gifts, toys and games to send to families in Bosnia, the region Amanda recently visited on a missions trip with her church. From her experiences, Amanda shared that this would be the first time these children would receive gifts for Christmas. Great work Milestone team!

Milestone Holds 2nd Annual Field Day to Benefit Oklahoma Food Bank

Outside of meeting and exceeding the goals of our clients, the Milestone team enjoys nothing more than being able to give back to our fabulous Tulsa community. This past weekend, the team got together for our 2nd Annual Field Day and Canned Food Drive. The event, held at Hunter Park, involved traditional field day activities, including the three-legged-race, potato sack race and egg-spoon relay. As an "entrance fee," participants were asked to bring canned food and non-perishable food items to donate to the Oklahoma Food Bank network. By the end of the day, we collected over three large boxes of food, all while exercising our competitive spirits! Great work Milestone!

This year has offered huge success to Milestone Consulting Tulsa and the clients with whom they work. It should come as no surprise that word is out and big names in business and sales are recognizing the potential of the firm. Milestone Management Enjoys Long Weekend at Arizona Grand Resort!

Milestone defines itself as a company that values not only hard work and dedication to clients but also sees the importance of enjoying the journey towards greatness. Company President, Brian Bangor, along with Assistant Manager, Dave, took a few days out to "enjoy the ride" at the Arizona Grand Resort this past weekend. Along with managing partners from across the organization, they enjoyed some beautiful Arizona sunshine, including the premier golf courses, spas and poolside relaxation that the resort offered. Additionally, the team took part in the celebration of organization growth and client success that contributed to the promotion of several company leadership promotions!

Milestone Consulting President Attends Rising Business Leaders Retreat

Nothing better than kicking the week off with a networking retreat! This week, Milestone President, Brian Bangor, did just that. Brian, along with a select group of up-and-coming direct sales business leaders spent the past three days soaking up some Arizona sun while networking and learning from some of the greatest minds in the field. Professional development sessions included discussions of best practices surrounding sales, leadership and team development as well as goal setting for the coming year. The group lived out the Milestone mindset of "work hard, play hard" by blowing off some steam by getting in a few rounds of golf on some of Phoenix's most renowned courses as well as kicking back at the Diamondbacks - Dodgers match-up. Congratulations, Brian, on your invitation to join this elite group!

Milestone's Wild, Wonderful West Virginia Adventure!

The Milestone crew recently had the opportunity to travel all the way across the country to attend the 2nd Annual Organizational Management Retreat at Snowshoe Mountain Resort in beautiful West Virginia. Managers Brian and Dave, along with top representatives Amanda and TJ, kicked off their August with a long weekend of networking, professional development and FUN with other managers and lead account managers from across the country. In addition to a full day of break-out sessions and discussion of current professional topics, the crew was able to kick back and relax - highlights included a mini-car mountain adventure, exploring the mountains and lake within the resort and attended the 10th Annual Snowshoe BBQ, Blues and Brews Festival.

We are so excited that our administrative team was able to join in this summer of fun travel and networking.
This past weekend, our Human Resources Manager, LaNita, joined other administrators from within the organization at the first annual development weekend geared solely towards our recruiting and growth initiatives. Our clients are consistently looking for bigger and better results from our top-notch team, so we are grateful that LaNita was able to have this rare opportunity to gain face-time with administrative and growth pace-setters from across the country. The Milestone crew loves nothing more than traveling for great networking and professional development opportunities. The team recently was given the chance to travel to New Orleans for a regional conference  In addition to various break-out sessions and professional development meetings, the conference featured an awards dinner at which top performers and industry leaders were recognized for their hard work and contributions. Our very own manager, Brian, brought home numerous awards, including Rookie Owner of the Year and Top Campaign Pace Setter as well an exclusive invitation to a rising industry leader's conference in Las Vegas. Additionally, our wonderful administrator, LaNita, was recognized for her consistent results and contribution to the growth and expansion of our company. Milestone Celebrates A New Client Addition!

At Milestone Consulting, we are constantly looking for new ways to expand our team and improve the services we can provide to our clients. Our management team was recently approached with the opportunity to work with a new client, allowing us to expand our services into the business-to-business sector of direct marketing. A core team of top representatives has been select to lead this initial pilot-period before the opportunity to join our B2B team is opened to the entire Milestone crew. We are excited to have this chance to grow our company and show the world what we are capable of accomplishing!

Milestone Named "More for Moore" Champions!

One of our favorite things to do at Milestone is to give back to the community around us. As we are all aware, our neighbors in Oklahoma City were recently rocked by a series of tornadoes, leaving many of them without a home or the basic necessities to live. Our good friends and peers in OKC let us know of a charity sand volleyball tournament benefiting the victims of the Moore tornadoes... and you better believe we jumped all over the opportunity to get involved. Throughout the course of the tournament, our team was able to help raise nearly $1,000 to contribute to the cause... as well as bring home the first place trophy, now proudly displayed in our office! All proceeds were put towards a larger fund that ultimately helped a single mother of 5 put a down payment on a new home for her family.

Milestone Travels to Los Angeles Business Training Weekend!

Milestone's favorite assistant manager, Dave, recently took a long weekend trip to Los Angeles, California, to attend a conference centered around business development and new business growth. Top business
leaders and mentors from across the industry of direct marketing covered topics ranging from basic business finance and legal do's and don'ts to time management and corporate coaching. Lucky for Dave, the weekend wasn't just work... between sessions, attendees had the opportunity to explore the Santa Monica Pier, experience some fine dining around L.A. and even spend an evening on the beach. Dave's trip was in preparation for his leading of the most recent Milestone expansion office, coming this fall! Keep checking back for more details and updates on this exciting adventure!

Milestone Expands to the St. Louis Market!

After taking both OKC and Tulsa by storm, Milestone is proud to officially announce our recent expansion into the St. Louis market! Our assistant manager, Clint, and a crew of top representatives have packed their bags and taken the Milestone approach to Missouri, allowing us to provide additional results to our clients. Clint was a part of the original Milestone crew and has extensive first-hand experience as to the hard work and dedication it takes to develop a successful organization. We are already so proud of the work this team has put in and are anxious to see the great things they accomplish in St. Louis!

BACK TO BACK EVENTFUL WEEKENDS AT MSC

During March Madness, Milestone Consulting ran an office competition  The office was divided up into groups of 3-4 and the teams competed for front sideline tickets at a Tulsa Defenders Arena Football Game. Alyssa, Jonathan and Tiffany (Team Extreme) swept the competition and were crowned victorious! The following weekend, there was another competition for Tulsa Drillers tickets. 5 top account reps and the 4 managers had the opportunity to attend the game. Our hometown Drillers lost in extra innings but we still enjoyed the post-game fireworks!

MSC expands their management team promoting Dave to Assistant Manager! Today was a huge milestone for Dave! Dave was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended Miami University and majored in Health and Sports Studies with a minor in Marketing. From Cincinnati, Dave is an avid Cincinnati Reds and Bengals fan. While growing up and being heavily involved in basketball, he competed against high caliber athletes such as: OJ Mayo, Greg Oden, Daequan Cook and Mike Conley. One of Dave's greatest sports memories was guarding OJ Mayo (who now plays for the Dallas Mavericks) and holding him 10-31 from the field, scoring 24 pts, and leading his team to a 17 pt victory. With a winning attitude, Dave credits his advancement to striving for excellence through integrity and leadership. We are excited for Dave's recent success and he says, “We are just getting started."

Milestone Consulting, Inc. is happy to announce the new expansion office to St. Louis! On May 6^th, Clint will be expanding the company to STL! With plenty of opportunity in Tulsa and nationwide, Clint decided to partner up with our preferred client 6 hours northeast! Milestone has goals to expand the company 3 times in 2013 (St. Louis is the first of the 3).  In our home city, Tulsa is ready and excited to expand rapidly with the upcoming expansion.

EASTER SUNDAY GOLF OUTING

Happy Easter Tulsa! Following quality time spent Easter Morning with friends and family, some of the crew from MSC decided to take their talents to the golf course in the afternoon. The 5Some (Craig, Clint, Tim, Brett and Brian) went to White Hawk Golf Course in Bixby for a solid round of 18! With Clint being an avid golfer, he easily won the round. It was a beautiful afternoon to spend some time outside with some great people.

THE MANAGEMENT TEAM TRAVELS TO ATLANTA

Over the weekend, Clint and Brian traveled to Atlanta for a national seminar. The team met with top consultants to celebrate the success of 2012. While reflecting on a great year over a champagne toast, there was plenty of talk about how to take the organization to the next level. Brian comments, “Working with great people who truly care and will go above and beyond for your success was the greatest feeling that I got from the weekend.”

The weekend was filled with helpful knowledge on how to grow MSC and the client. With all the helpful information taken back to Tulsa, Clint and Brian still had time to enjoy a little R&R with friends and coworkers!

MSC WELCOMES THE NEW YEAR

2012 is in the books and was full of events & success. Milestone Consulting is excited about the upcoming year with even bigger success. Over the past few weeks, we held a Top Chef Cook-Off, MSC Fantasy Football Challenge and a fun karaoke night! Meagan was crowned champion for the 2^nd Annual Milestone Consulting Fantasy Football League! It was a fun and lengthy season with a lot of smack talk!

Providing top notch results for the clients, the MSC team enjoys occasional office nights where the crew gets together and partakes in fun, team building activities; anything from karaoke nights to laser tag. This past Thursday, the office divided up into 4 teams and had a Top Chef Cook-Off. Tim’s team took the victory with homemade hot pockets. It was a unanimous decision!
